Where to uncover Samantha Moore’s Treasure

In Treasure, a metal detectorist’s quest through the Shropshire Marches leads us to a spectacular gold masterpiece, and the leader who sacrifices it for the sake of her child. This glorious, animated adventure, is inspired by the discovery of the amazing  Shropshire sun pendant, which it will be exhibited alongside at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery from 10 September to 12 December, as part of the British Museum Spotlight Loan Exhibition ‘Gathering Light’.

The film also has its festival premiere screening in competition at Norwich Film Festival in November.

Treasure is a film by Samantha Moore, produced by Animate Projects, commissioned by Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery, with the support of BFI NETWORK, awarding funds from the National Lottery.
